Hi Bill and Welcome to DF!

How often are you testing you Blood Glucose (BG) levels at home? It is a good idea to test several times a day to find out how your BG varies and especially how it reacts to specific foods.

High BG (and/or low BG) can leave one feeling all kinds of "out of sorts" - I recognise the sweats but mine were mostly overnight You will begin to feel so much better as you get your BGs under better control.
