hi again Yannah,
If you are taking quinipril, then i assume that you have already been dx'd as having HTN. so, yes, imo that number is high. that being said, i do agree with Frank's suggestion of taking your BP regularly, which you should already be doing....so, is it a random (possibly lab coat induced) high? Or is it your average reading? if it is a frequent occurrence...then you need to discuss it with your doc...and i can only guess that you are under stress as you adjust to this new diabetic lifestyle, so you may need a little more support for your BP at this time. Please keep us posted.
