| Carolyn, sending (((Hugs))) your way. Sorry you're having a bad time. Can't give you advice about your blood sugar, but I wanted to let you know I understand where you're coming from. Even after 13 years, I miss my mother terribly around the holidays. They can be rough. Add not feeling well in general, and you've got a lot on your plate.
Hope things are brighter for you in the coming days. I'm sure you'll feel better physically as your bronchitis/pneumonia and blood sugars resolve.

HCTZ 12.5 mg every other day for BP
Enalapril 20 mg 1 daily (ace-inhibitor)
Lower carb dieter (approx. 75 total carbs/day, more on weekends), taking chromium, multivitamin and fish oil tablets
Initial A1C 8/06: 9.6
11/06: 6.2.
03/07: 5.3
06/07: 5.4
10/07: 5.3
05/08: 6.2 (after dealing with shingles & bronchiti)
