Very cool. I logged on to brag about my 5.8 I just got today, so you beat me Still happy for us both. Good job us!

I want to tell the new people reading, that even after 12+ years of being D, it's not too late to get it together, and make some fairly easy changes to get numbers under control.

I kind of just did what my dr said for years, and it was just ok. Six months ago I tried a new aggressive doctor, and really started to read this forum. I have learned a million things *here*, and it's a new world.

Truthfully without this forum, I would not have seen how people eat less carbs, and what a good effect that can have. I would not have really known what food is good, and what is troublesome. I would not have seen how insulin is a good thing, and not really scary at all.

You guys opened my mind, and my 5.8 today is the lowest in 10 years, by a long way.

thnx!
