Still a newbie at this

I have learned SO much the past few days from the forums. You guys are awesome!

I learned that I should wear a medical alert bracelet - didn't have a clue about Metformin and MRIs, etc - so I just ordered one. I think I figured out how to add my stats to my signature. If they don't show up, I'll know I need to work on that. Now, for my first question.....in your experience, can alopecia be linked to diabetes? I am seeing a dermatologist, but this is an entirely new ailment that I didn't have prior to diagnosis.
