Or for those who have an operating pancreas but it has just grown weak wouldn't the sudden exposure to oxygen help it regain its strength?

My doctor and I have been discussing this as an option to possibly kick starting my pancreas...is this really possible?
Where is the medical assertation that it might help your pancreas rejuvenate coming from? Is your doctor citing examples, case studies, has he even got a good theory other than "hey it works with other things, why not the pancreas"? The way you've put this, the idea just sounds like wishful thinking from go to woe.

Is this the doc who diagnosed you as type 1? Why on earth would you still be seeing him or taking him seriously?
