The islets inside your pancreas.Or for those who have an operating pancreas but it has just grown weak wouldn't the sudden exposure to oxygen help it regain its strength? My doctor and I have been discussing this as an option to possibly kick starting my pancreas...is this really possible? |
My husband had daily treatment for many, many months in a hyperbaric chamber due to "wound care" on several occassions. Vasculer complications and diabetes resulted in several amputations. The additional oxygen does help increasse regeneration of tissue but it is a very long and slow process.

There was no mention from any of the medical communities, that a pancreas or islets can be rejuvenated. My husband also had a kidney/pancreas transplant many years prior, and again no mention of the possibility. Heck, if it would of worked, he would of had three healthy kidneys and two healthy pancreas's.

Do your research - there are many good websites that explain about the benefits of this procedure.
