I had very simular effect the metformin made me very dizzy and sick to my tummy. I talke d to my Dr. and she said the dizzyness is from your sugars dropping at a quicker rate (same with the insuline if your on that too) The Metformin is working just has a few unpleasnt side effect but check with your dr about the heart it could be masking something that could really be wrong.

Lantus Pen 30-40 units daily
humalog kwikpen sliding scale 0-30 units 0-4 times daily
Metforminn - 1000 morning, 1000 nightly
Vit-D 8000 mg daily
Tramadol 100mg daily
folic acid 800 mg daily
Cinnamon 1000 morn 1000 night
