I have been at this for 34 years now. Blood glucose testing since late 80s or so. I tested about 10 times a day up until about 2 months ago. It never bothered me and it does not do anything to your fingers. Maybe a little tougher Skin on your fingers but no big deal. I am now on CGMS but you still have to test a minumum of 4 times a day, plus I do not have it on all the time. I go back to my 10 to 12 times a day. No problem. Set your poker to a minumum depth that will still get you enough blood for a sample and it won't hurt as much. I do not even feel it now.
