My morning numbers were a little higher, around 6 mmol/L (108 mg/dL). At the same time, my 'fasting' readings before lunch or supper are very much in the normal range - around 4.5 (81). I increased the intensity of my exercise, especially that which I do in the evening. Also, I adjusted the timing of the evening exercise to be as close to supper as possible - began taking my supper almost immediately after the evening exercise (of course, after shower etc ). I also tweaked my diet, making a slight reduction in the total food intake (I am not on low carbing and my carb intake may be significantly higher than many others on this board). All the above changes resulted in my morning numbers going down to around 5.2 (94) - still a little higher than the before-lunch or before-supper readings. But 5.2 (94) seems to be pretty OK and so I am not taking any more efforts to reduce it further and bring it on par with the other 'fasting' readings.

Regards,
Rad
