Have you changed what you eat?

It is my understanding that if we have excess energy the body will speed up its metabolism -- the rate at which cells burn energy. This causes extra heat which explains -- for me at least -- how I could previously have been walking around in short sleeves while many other people were wearing jackets.

Now that I have drastically reduced the amount of carbs I eat, I am much more aware of the temperature and I'm dressing up with sweaters etc... quite a novel experience for me to feel cold.
