I've tried that, it doesn't work. I've also tried taking the battery out to reset it but that doesn't work, either. It still keeps regular time. I suspect there may be an internal clock and battery and it's coded with the date of manufacture or something like that and will reject strips that have just expired regardless of the date I put on it. I'm going to try again in a few minutes.
