The people I've talked with about it reported that they are no less painful than a needle injection. It's useful for people who can't stand the concept of a needle going into the skin.

There are different attachments for "different kinds of skin" thicknesses. The pressure of the jet burst of insulin must be increased until such that no insulin leakage occurs.

Generally, they are less reliable and less likey to be carried around easily (e.g., eating out).
