Funny you should mention this. My husband has been Type II for 8 years and always had good cholesterol but his last blood work showed elevated LDL for the second time so doc put him on 5 mg of Crestor. HIs over all cholesterol and HDL are good. He got all excited because his AM glucose readings have been way DOWN and he thinks its the Crestor. I told him its probably not the Crestor and decided to look it up and found your post. I think its a fluke but since reading this thread I will make sure to check his readings for a while.

He takes Janumet and Glipzide and Avapro to protect his kidneys which are fine so far.
