| Do you take aspirin or blood thinners regularly? I take a low-dose aspirin daily, and sometimes i'll notice bruising, depending on where I give the shot.
I find about 3 fingers width to the right or left of the navel works best for me. The further away from that I go, the more bruising I notice. Also, it may be time to replace your needle.

Enalapril 20 mg 1 daily (ace-inhibitor)
Lower carb dieter (approx. 75 total carbs/day, more on weekends), taking chromium, multivitamin and fish oil tablets

10/07: 5.3
05/08: 6.2 (after dealing with shingles & bronchiti)
