I often tell my husband he'd better hope i'm not in a car wreck...as I sometimes have 3-4 of varying stages of blue, purple and yellow on my stomach at any given time. Looks like i've been punched a few times

...but they truly don't hurt.

I do hate when I hit a vessel though....OUCH!

I still don't change needles but about once a week...I keep the needle in my pen, and don't usually have an extra with me.

T2, diagnosed 8/31/06.
Metformin 500 mg twice daily
HCTZ 12.5 mg every other day for BP
Enalapril 20 mg 1 daily (ace-inhibitor)
Lower carb dieter (approx. 75 total carbs/day, more on weekends), taking chromium, multivitamin and fish oil tablets

Initial A1C 8/06: 9.6
11/06: 6.2.
03/07: 5.3
06/07: 5.4
10/07: 5.3
05/08: 6.2 (after dealing with shingles & bronchiti)
2/09: 5.5
