Like zatff Ive found that some things effect my BG enough to warrant basal changes. Ive set up 4 basal programs so that I can easily ramp up or down the % if the temp basal doesnt cover it. I think its related to allergies. I take allergy meds so I dont see the symptoms as strong sometimes, but my BG tends to trend up for about 10 days at a time. Last week I was at 140% of my normal basal for a few days. The change couldnt be explained by food or site issues.

Wish I had started pumping 15 years ago

Since Smiths Medical has given up, I hope there will be more options available in 2 or 3 years - if not I may just go back to MDI
