Cannot vouch if this idea works or not, but it wouldn't hurt the Dexcom receiver. I read this idea on the Internet for cell phones that get dropped into the loo. Put the phone in a bowl of uncooked rice and supposedly the rice absorbs the moisture that is inside the phone. My brother put his cell phone through the entire wash cycle at the laundromat, took it out, laid it on a towel for three days and lo and behold after it dried out ....it worked!!! Best wishes to you
