thanks for the advice...

I called their on call tech support since Dexcom is closed for the holiday weekend; the rep told me to leave it on the charger and in a bowl of rice, she then told me that I will get a call from Dexcom on Monday morning to see what can be done.

Tried starting it today (after about 36hrs in rice bowl) with no success.

I'll let you guys know what happens on Monday
