Question on preventing lows while exercising

Hey everyone, I just joined the gym yesterday because my daily routine was boring me and i wanted more of a cardio workout like classes, and treadmills and bikes and stuff.....
So heres my question!


While working out does anyone bring snacks or a special drink to the gym and if so what kind do you bring that is low fat, and doesnt make you bottom out during a workout?
