Hi guys I haven't posted for some time, was a bit busy!
Went to see the endo for the first time on the 13th of November. She reckons the pre-d that they picked up is a secondary result because of something else, because I don't have any of the other risk factors.
She tested for tumors on the adrenal glands as well as some or other gland in the back of your neck of which the name escapes me
. Going to see her again on the 3rd of Nov to get results.
She also suggested that I go for a OGTT in Nov as the previous one was in June. I'm thinking to ask her to test for LADA as well while she's busy, even if it is just to give me peace of mind.
Have any of you experienced secondary diabetes? AS I've read it's very rare only about 2% of all diabetes is secondary.
