| I only have experience with the Freestyle Copilot software, but I can tell you about that. My meter connects with a cable to the computer, and uploads all my readings. From there I can add data about each reading, and see lists listing what my averages were at different times of the day, and all kinds of statistics. It also makes all kinds of bar, line, and pie graphs and histograms. I find it very helpful for spotting my trouble times and seeing my info in a single glance.
I can also put in my excersises, all my meds, my doctor's appointment info, and what foods I eat. There is a database of the foods and their different nutritional contents. I used it to make a list of my favorite foods, so those are readily availible to be inputted.
There's a pump section as well, but I'm not on the pump so I can't tell you too much about it. I imagine it's designed to work with the Cozmore pump.
I also like that I can manually input blood sugars also if I use a different meter, and that it works with all Precision and Freestyle meters, so I can have readings from more than one meter displayed in my graphs. If there is more than one person using the software, based on serial number, the software knows who the meter belongs to and who's charts to put the info in. I can also password protect my data so no one goes snooping.
I don't like that sometimes my charts get cut off when I print them, but there are some settings I have yet to fool around with that hopefully will rememdy that problem. |
