Meter Readings

Since I got a meter and strips on Monday, I've been testing myself several times a day, and... it's not good.

My overall average is 159. My wake-up readings have been 188, 194, 207, 165. Most of my readings have been from the high 140s to 190 during the day, with a couple in the 90s at the low end, and one spike to 246 after having a banana and some oatmeal for breakfast (so much for oatmeal!) this morning.

This is after I saw an Endo for the first time, and he actually CUT my Metformin from 1000mg to 500mg 2x a day. I realize this is a very small sample size, but I'm not thrilled about how this is going so far.

I know, I know - diet and exercise.
