how old is your son? is he currently on MDI (multiple daily injections)? how is he feeling since he started insulin? |
He will be 15 in a few weeks- he honestly has never felt anything yet. We caught it early on as I noticed he was drinking and drinking and drinking so I took in to the ped who didnt really even want to BS test until I refused to leave.. So during honeymooning its cool to eat a couple grapes every hour or so? I am having him check what seems to be every other hour, the dr reduced his Lantus to 12 and carb ratio to 1-15 yesterday. He was at 80 before breakfast had french toast with low sug syrup and half a bannana and 1.5 hr later he is at 88. The doc prefers to see him around 100 right now..
