I'm actually a newspaper reporter for The Brampton Guardian as well! (I'm working right now, in fact.)
I'm also looking into pumping. So far, I like the (idea of) the Animas OneTouch Ping the best...seems to have a lot of capabilities above and beyond the others (other than not having a CGMS...). |
We lived on Aintree Ct off of Bramalea Rd with our peeps and then moved in a high rise near The City Center when we lived there, the views were spectacular on the 13th floor. The Pasquale's are relatives of ours and still live there. I worked in Missasauga (?) something like that for Melmart Distributors its been 25 years since I was there I can only imagine how its changed. We also have relatives in St Catherines, Niagra Falls, North Bay and Hamilton. My husband was born in Hamilton and played hockey as a kid. I remember the stars they seemed to be close enough to reach out and touch when you got out of the city- that's my fav memory of CA. I remember riding the underground trains in T.O. the tube I think they were called and flying down the interstates the Que'?? we can't go that fast here. A rep from Animus came out to my home this week, they are actually introducing an intragrated CGMS in spring 2010- I have contacted the other bigger pump co about 4 times and unfortunately cant get a response. I would like to compare the 2 but given my experience with their customer service thus far perhaps its a sign. Anyway, its been great remembering my CA days.
