Anyone else tired all the time?

I was diagnosed Type 2 Diabetic three years ago. I take 1000mg Metformin and just recently started Byetta. I am tired all the time. I have felt like this for awhile, so I know it's not the Byetta. I was just wondering if anyone else feels the fatigue? Do the meds make me feel tired, or is it just being diabetic? My last A1C was 6.8, which was a month ago.
