It comes with a drum instead of individual test strips, so I thought that might be nice to try. Anyway..... I called Accu Check and they are going to send me a free meter! I think they will send any meter you request. The number to call is 800-858-8072. Just thought I'd pass this on!
Great choice on your meter, been using one for 4 years now, I've had no complaints, in fact I've got 3 of them, one in my office desk, one I always travel around with, and one at home as my back up meter.

However! I do not think they will send you any meter, only just their brand "Accu Check", yes, all mind came free, but they don't give two hoots about the freebies knowing full well, the test strips will cost you a bundle, ££££$$$$$. that's where the money is made.

Any way, thanks for sharing this information, hope you enjoy your new "Accu Check" meter, as much as I do, when it arrives.

Many people will try to tell you what you can’t eat with diabetes.
Most will be well-meaning.
Rather than compounding the problem by telling you what you should
eat, I’d recommend a simpler method, eat by your meter.
