Since I started working out this spring, I noticed I have gained about 5 lbs...not a huge difference, but is this normal?
I guess that would depend, maybe you put on 5lbs of muscles. Is your bg's in good control?

WAS lifting but quit that after I was told I had diabetes.......so I haven't lifeted in about 3 months or so.....
My Dr. told me to lift. It turns fat into muscles. I guess the muscles burns sugar off. Where fat doesn't and you would need more insulin. More muscles less insulin would be needed. And every time you use your muscles you would be burning sugar.
