You've probably never seen anyone injecting on the beach as I think most diabetics inject quite discreetly, I used to get the flashing lights out and siren but found I caused too much of a disturbance (kidding!)
If you're wondering how to wash hands for blood testing just take a few wet wipes and just do everything as you normally do.
If you get any reaction just ignore it. Nothing to do with anyone else.
