Sorry, but I like diet coke much better than diet pepsi, although I like regular pepsi better than regular coke. Go figger.

Anyway, is there a difference? Not to your records or counting, but the sodas have sodium in them, and depending on the sweetener, may have some other effects. Water is better for you.

I will admit that I've gotten around my habitual soda drinking somewhat by drinking mineral water. I get the fizz and the sodium, but not sweetener. I find that the stuff sweetened with aspartame/nutri-sweet gives me headaches, while too much Splenda causes stomach upset.

I prefer saccharin I think. Still waiting to hear what's wrong with that old cure, though.
