My buddies tell me the Melting Pot is all sorts of good-eating, I need to make it out to one sometime soon.

As in all things, do it in moderation and test your sugars before you eat there, and I would recommend every hour after you eat there until your sugars are back in "normal" range. And for good measure, since sometimes foods break down slower when eating out, even after you are back at normal, test again two hours after your "normal" reading. Some of us notice an occasional spike late after eating out, but that's typically reserved for high fat/high protein foods consumed in mass quantities.
