Well, I am 22 years old. My name is Josh and I just found out that I have Type 2 Diabetes. In a way it is a mixed blessing for me. I am over weight and I feel that changing my eating patterns to help manage my Diabetes will also help me lose weight. Honestly, I am not too sure how to feel about the whole situation. I do know that I need to start exercising and I am waiting to hear back from my doctors on a diabetic nutritionist around my area. Nonetheless, I am slightly scared. I know I will do fine and get through things and that the rewards will far surpass any of my uncertainties. If anyone would like to chat I would love it, I am looking for some help with some of the things I can still eat, things I should stay away from all in all, and maybe some places online that specialize in diabetic-friendly foods! Hope everyone is well.

Josh
