I also take Lisinopril and Aspirin.

The bloated feeling is almost certainly due to the Metformin, I would guess. Metformin causes all sorts of different effects in different people - all gastrointestinal. I tolerated about six months of these effects before they started to subside and now I have absolutely no side effects.

When I started on Metformin one of the bad effects was very loose bowels - now, I am absolutely normal.

If you have any Metformin side effects which are affecting your bowels, then exercise could well help.

Medication - Metformin 850mg x 3; Pioglitazone (Actos) 30mg x 1; Gliclazide 160mg x 2; plus stuff for hypertension & cholesterol with Aspirin E/C for the cardio/vascular system

I have to keep smiling - there's no other choice - but I do growl occasionally
