| I personally don't even bother with ratios. Mine change from day to day, as well during the day, so there's no real point me sticking to a prescribed ration. Then there's the fact that I digest carbs at differing rates depening on what I'm eating, how much exercise I've done that day, my stress levels, what I've eaten earlier that day.....
...ratios are good to a certain extent in that they assist you in helping to work out how much you need to take. However they're really only a guideline because they only take into account one variable. |
