| I like the south beach high protein cereal bars, especially
the peanut butter. 15g carbs, 10g protein and 5 gr fat.
140 calories. I keep them in my purse incase of a low, I find if you catch it early, the carbs bring it up but the protein keeps you from crashing again. I still keep the glucose tabs for very low lows. I sometimes have to work late and am prone to late afternoon lows so if it looks like I am going to work late, I will head off the low with a bar about 4:30. By 6:30-7:00 I am ok for dinner.
You can get them on sale at Kroger stores for $2.68 a box of 5 bars so I stock up then. They are good for breakfast on the run as well I have found.
