| What a lousy day! I can't comment on most of it, but Eri's original problem of 'going low' points out that once you've taken your insulin, you've committed to eating a certain amount of carbs, NO MATTER WHAT, or you get Eri's situation.
I've forced myself to eat some truely horrible frozen food - looked good in the box - because I'd already covered for it. Or else make up the difference with candy.
But with a child that's very different. I wouldn't want to be in the position of saying "Eat your carrots, or Mommy is going to make you eat candy!"
Definately a situation where glucose tabs, even with their cost, are better than candy. |
