You are on the dinosaurs of insulins. They're tried and true, but they have quickly been outdated by newer faster and better insulins.

Switch from R to humalog or novolog (R takes a LOT longer to work than the newer -log insulins)
from NPH to Lantus or what's the other one called Levimir?
