I still look back and can't believe it's only been 3 years ago that I went on Humalog. Before that I was on NPH and R and dropping like a rock at least once every three months. No dangerous lows that I haven't been able to take care of since December 2002.

My main reason for switching to Novolog was it's 50% cheaper than Humalog through my insurance. Humalog is a tier 3 drug (highest copay) and Novolog is a tier 2 drug. So I made the switch mainly for that reason, but also because I've heard it's more recommended for pump users.
