I don't worry about the timing too much, sometimes I'll go 2-3 hours beyond my usual time, either accidentally or purposefully, and I don't see a difference in my bg. But, I do split my dose so I feel justified in stretching it out a bit because I know I'm not running out. But that's just me. If you're not seeing a rise in your bg, I wouldn't worry about it.
