I set an alarm that reminds me to take it at 9 pm and have only missed it once (I remembered when I got home from work). The delay didn't seem to have an impact on my numbers that night or the following day, that I recall; however, the reason I had missed it was I had been in a meeting and I think I had fewer carbs in the evening that I usually would have, so maybe that affected the results.
