Hi GoP,

It's completely normal to be scared and overwhelmed when given this dx. However, I think you are doing a very wise thing...that is, trying to educate yourself and seeking out other people who know and understand what you are going through.

It seems like you have already made a lot of progress getting your blood sugar down- - that's really great. I'm sure that if you keep working on it, you will achieve better control. And we all know how important that is.

In the meantime, keep doing what you are doing and just try to take things a day at a time. Things will get easier.
