I'm surprised your doctor did not check you for diabetes - some doctors eh?!! Thank god the walk in doctor had sense to perform the test. Glad to hear you had a healthy daughter

My husband & I want to try for a family, but I have a couple of health issues to overcome first, being high blood pressure (now I have borderling low pressure!) & protein in my urine (seeing the hospital next week about this). I have been told that you need excellent bs control, especially in the early stages, as this helps prevent the foetus developing abnormalities. But I have never heard there are high risks with the 2nd pregnancy & I know a few women who have had 2 or more babies. Maybe somebody else on here knows more than me but if you're healthy & have your diabetes under control I can't see there would be a problem. Have a chat with your doctor to put your mind at rest.

Good luck with everything...the medical bit & the fun bit
