| I had my daughter 12 years ago and yes, it is a risky pregnancy. I was under real good control, but I was never told that I could not have more children. I don't see if you have great control, before, during, and after; it being a problem. I had the same warnings of having high blood sugars. There are a few members on here that are T1 and have a few kids. Hopefully they will chime in soon.
I regret not having another child. I'm only 31 and my clock is ticking... lol (like Marissa Tomei in My Cousin Vinny).
