Best of luck to you Doetsch!! We see discrimination already and Taylor is only 5. One child care provider would told us that we would have to take Taylor home if she needed a shot b/c it would be an illness. Then she would have to stay home for 24 hours after the shot. She could not get it thru her head that Taylor is insulin DEPENDENT and that diabetes is an auto-immune disease, NOT an illness. Hopefully, the more people know the easier our lives will be!!
