| | What do you crave the most? I think the meal I miss the most would be...
Biscuits and Gravy..... They are a huge spike for me. Just can't eat them anymore I went from 120/6.7 to 250/13.9 never again...
So what food do you crave the most?

| | My most consistent cravings are:
Twinkies
Birthday cake
Yeast rolls...or soft white bread of any kind
Cotton candy
Corn on the cob
Goodness..is it any wonder I have diabetes!! Actually, just typing this has probably raised my blood sugar 10 points!
So you're not doing bad to have only one thing you miss badly.

| | | Occasionally I'll miss cake. Never been a big ice cream fan. Chocolate I found I can eat in small amounts. Had real milk chocolate yesterday right after dinner and I only went up 20 mg/dl (The massive portion of green beans probably helped out a bit too.) But that has to be what I crave the most...

| | | Mostly white bread, good proper stuff not the processed sliced stuff and roast potatoes/fries. Just made some parsnip fries and they worked out really well.

| | | I don't miss anything! I play games with my mind, and don't want junk . . . even if I could have it. Ok then . . . . I miss bread. I could bolus for it, but I'm low carbing and haven't had bread or potatoes for quite some time. I just find other things I like. It's not healthy to feel deprived!

| | | Pizza. Lots and lots of pizza. And brownies. Party mix.
I eat lower carb too, so I try not to get into that sort of stuff, but I still miss it sometimes.

| | I pretty much have a tiny bit of anything I want. But every now and then...
I'd like a great big helping of garlic mashed potatoes! Or 2-3 pieces of sourdough toast with jam. Or a huge piece of cornbread with butter and honey. Or a plate of grits with butter, salt and pepper. And oh yes, Tashia--biscuits and gravy.
I've learned to appreciate quality, not quantity. Mostly. |
