It's a breeze! But buy a good one. A Zojirushi is the Cadillac and very worth the cost. I have a Cuisinart. It makes great bread, but it has flaws. The worst is difficulty keeping the pan stable while mixing.

Don't buy a cheapie. You will be dissapointed before too long. My B&D lasted less than four months.

you will love a breadmaker!!!! it is so easy....just dump the ingrediants...and press a button....when my kids were home i used to make it all the time....it is so wonderful to wake up in themorning to fresh bread!! i haven't made any since diagnosis just over a year ago...i have been inspired by john's posts totry it again....actually yesterday there was a recipe that looked good i will try and find again some place on this forum....the sour dough news will be exciting for me to try as living by san fran. we are famous for our sour dough!!
