Iphone and Carb Counting

Found a nice free app in the (app store) for those of us carb counting. It's called Restaurant Nutrition. It has pretty much any fast food places menu and nutrition values on it.

If only this thing could read my blood sugar and give me shots. In time I suppose.

Thank you. That is really a useful program. If you will search "diabetes" in the app store, there are a few good programs. I also have been usin Diabetes Log. I plan to use it to quickly save any insulin, and carb count, when I return to work. I have been using it at home to become familiar with it. It works great.
Best - Ted

Nice app, thanks. Haven't had fast food since diagnosis - nice to see that I can find the Carb and transfat details of all these restaurants in one quick place.

This is a great program for those of you that have palm pilots and not on pumps it works like this test bs enter numbers then enter your carbs which it has a list of foods and fast food it will then tell you how many units of insulin you need, this is just one of the things it will do . You have to put in a few numbers but it is easy.Diabetes Pilot - Software for Palm PDA's and Windows PC's

terminator - Diabetes Log is nice (free), but I'd recommend "Islet" - a couple bucks but you can do email export and they just added graphing capabilities, and you can also export graphs.
