Hello everyone

I was recently diagnosed with diabetes. I am on 500 mg Metformin and 80 mg Gliclizade per day. My readings before breakfast are in the vicinity of 89 mg dl. I believe that this is an acceptable figure.

Welcome to DF. 89 is a perfect number for fasting as well as pre-meal. Metformin takes about 3-4 weeks to reach its peak performance levels.
