Question calorie king book (2008 edition)

i just decided to get the calorie king book from amazon but the 2009 edition wasn't available and hasn't been for some time... so i ordered the 2008 one, it hasn't come in yet, but i'm wondering if anyone here has it or knows anything about it... i was really looking for a book that has the nutritional values of foods (both grocery and restaurant)... i know the calorie king site is good so i thought the book must be good too...

any thoughts? anyone?

I have tryied the mobile phone way mobile.calorieking.com and the normal web is better. It's too cumbersome using the phone.

I used to have the little book before I lost it >[
I thought it was REALLY great! Useful and had almost everything I could think of. I really want a new one. Good choice in my opinion

Excellent reference for us who need to know nutritional info. I keep it in my car, or in my purse when traveling. You can always find either the exact thing you need or something very similar.

It's a small book (about 3X4 inches) but HEAVY. Very worth it.

Thumbs up Five Stars!

I got the 2001 edition when I was first diagnosed. I used it forever, then finally this year I got the updated 2008 edition. I laughed at myself for not buying another one sooner because the 2001 book was soooo behind! And they're only like $8 or so. Definitely really informative and worth it. It's the "nutrition fact" book that I'd recommend to anyone if they asked me. Just make sure you get a new one every year or two so you've got the info for all the updated dishes at fast food places and whatnot.

If any of you have a Medtronic rep, they'll give a copy to you yearly for free. Some endos who have reps they work with also have them in their meter closets.

It is a great source for information. I have copies in my car, wifes car, and carry one and have a spare at home in case I loose one. There usually isn't much difference from year to year.
