      foxl,

Have you tried La-Yu chili oil sauce?
It is one of my favorite 'go-to' sauces.
With a sesame, chili spiciness what could be bad?

S&B - La-Yu Chili Oil With Chili Pepper 1.11 Fl. Oz: Amazon.com: Grocery & Gourmet Food
I get it at the regular grocery store in the Asian section.

It is a killer secret ingredient in stir-frys.

Nope -- but this Amazon.com: Lan Chi Chili Paste with Garlic: Grocery & Gourmet Food is my all-time favorite. This time they were out ... I had to settle for Lee Kum Kee at my grocery.

I've never heard of these noodles...they sound great! Can't wait to order a case myself and start experimenting in the kitchen! Thanks for all your ideas...

I see a problem here...the noodles need to be cooked. Oh well, maybe I can find something that you can just eat right out of the bag.....well, I guess I could microwave them.....hmmm, but then that would dirty a dish that I'd have to wash. This is getting harder and harder to do....wait, maybe if I got a girlfriend, she could come over and cook for me....or better yet, I could go over to her house and she could cook for me, that way, I wouldn't have any dishes to wash.

Now if I could just find a girlfriend who likes to cook and hates to talk. (I just want them to cook for me, I don't want to talk to them.) Jeez, there is no such person out there. (Just kidding ladies!!)

Good luck on a girlfriend, but I don't cook my shirataki noodles, which I buy in an Asian supermarket nearby - just rinse them and sometimes sprinkle with seasoned salt to kill the fishy smell and I use it in my soup with good results taste and BG wise .

I don't cook Miracle Noodles, and right now I'm eating them every day. I just rinse them and if I'm going to put them into something warm I do that and let them warm through, but I also eat them just rinsed in a sesame-peanut Asian noodle kind of dish.

RE: The Spaghetti Shiratakis. I cooked these up with low carb pasta sauce the other night: The spaghetti shaped Shiratake Noodles were more rubbery than the Fettuccine Noodles and maybe that's because I walked away from the cooking noodles for a minute. lol.
Next time I won't overcook them (just in case I did this last time) and make a sesame peanutty sauce for them. yum.

Hammer looks at his caller ID and sees that it was Pink that called him. He decides to prank her back, so he stops into a Pizza Hut, orders and pays for 5 large pizzas that he has delivered to her place with a case of beer....and 3 dozen donuts from Krispy Kreme with a gallon of chocolate milk.....all high carb food that she shouldn't eat.

Okay, so I tried the Miracle Noodles and they are more trouble than they are worth, so I won't be using them anytime soon. Also, since you need to put them in some type of sauce, the sauce ends up containing too many carbs, so that defeats the purpose of using the noodles. The shape and texture of the noodles isn't very appetizing either. Oh well, at least I can say that I tried them.
